This is a series of illustrations that were created this summer, during my vacations on Sifnos island. My goal was to capture the essence of the Cycladic island, using completely simple geometric forms in my design. As for my usual process, I like to create rough sketches to find my composition. Contrary to the established color codes, I developed an unexpected color palette in order to intensify my design.

After finishing the digital illustration process, I found the idea of transferring the two animal themes (donkey, cat) on canvas very interesting. This kind of reversed direction process added an extra sense of pleasure, which led to the completion of the project.
